The demo for the retail version of Gearbits is here. It has five mission to play and it should give a pretty good idea of what you can expect from the finished game

New features include:

New content, obviously. But to be more precise, I’ve revamped every playable mission in the game. The test site now uses a new map and. There are five story missions to play though and some new equipment is available to the player. Unfortunately the new systems in the game have broken the old missions, so those will not be available any more.

A tutorial has been a requested feature for some time now. Now there’s one in the game to explain the very basics to new players.

A base exchange that can be used to check your equipment between missions and also acts as a place where you can discover extra dialogue to learn about the game world and characters.

A new save system. I said that I’d make one like a year ago. Now it’s finally in the game. The result for the user might not be all that different, but trust me, it’s much neater now.
