August updates to the test site and news about playtesting

Hello again. You’re getting two updates this month! Aren’t you lucky. I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback for the game. I’ve spent the last few weeks updating the game based on this feedback. And since a lot of these features would be good to have in the demo, I’m updating the itch.io build.

List of new features:

- Aiming can now be inverted on the Y or X axis.

- PS4 controllers now work with the game.

- You can now change the games resolution and toggle fullscreen mode.

- Some UI elements have been re-scaled.

- Allies no longer vibrate when following you.

- Enemies that fall below the map are teleported upwards, back to the map.

- On timed missions, the timer stops if the player is defeated.

- Fonts across the entire game have been changed.

- Cutscenes can now be paused.

- Balance tweaks on some weapons and missions.

I’ve been hard at work polishing Gearbits for release. But now, most of the discovered bugs have been fixed and the improvements have been implemented. That means, either the game is ready for launch, or I just haven’t found all the problems yet. If there are any more problems, I’m gonna need help finding them. So I’m taking in a new batch of testers to play the current development build. I need you to play the game and let me know about any bugs or gameplay issues. If you’d be interested in testing, join the Discord and follow the instructions you find there. https://discord.gg/ETsYsqZa The link is good for a week. I'll check the messages pretty regularly for the next few hours.

And if you haven't already, you can wishlist the game on Steam.
